GEFC 2.2 with Windows 8.1
« on: July 07, 2014, 08:12:04 PM »
I upgraded to Windows 8.1 on my computer.  Since then, my directory will not print the way I set it up under Windows 7, upgrading to Windows 8.  Is there a fix for this or do I have to start over from the beginning?  It was printing very well before the 8.1 upgrade.

I don't know how much help I can be since I don't have Windows 8 or 8.1 installed on my PC.  As far as I am aware GEFC can and will run on all versions of Windows.  If your GEFC ran on 7 and 8.0 it would seem to me that something must have been done when you installed 8.1.  I might be able to help more if you would tell me what happened when you ran it on 8.1

Until I installed 8.1 it was printing as I designed it - full page(8 and1/2 by11), picture with 5 lines beside it.  After installing 8.1, it prints like a 5x8 in the center of the page, leaving off some of the pictures and a lot of information.  That is the only difference I could detect between 8 and 8.1.  I appreciate any help you might be able to give.

Without having the data I am going to make a guess.  Please go to your Page Designer screen and under the STYLE drop down make sure the full page is checked and not the booklet format.  It appears somehow the booklet for is checked.
